Pabitra Raut

Pabitra Raut has practised law since 2010, with work in family and property matters and private international law. Her experience includes pro bono support for women, minorities and survivors of sexual violence, and strategic litigation concerning equal citizenship.

She is the proprietor of Kasthamandap Chamber. She holds an LLM in Constitutional and International Law and an MA in Gender Studies from Tribhuvan University. Her experience includes teaching at Nepal Law Campus and working as a resource person on constitutional and gender issues.

Her professional background also includes work with Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and twelve years in journalism before entering legal practice.
