Executive Summary
1. Introduction
This Indigenous Peoples Planning Framework (IPPF) provides policy, strategy, process and procedures to understand project impacts on Indigenous Peoples (IPs) under the Strategic Road Connectivity and Trade Improvement Project (SRCTIP)-Trade Facilitation Component, to be implemented by the Ministry of the Industry Commerce and Supply (MoICS) and Ministry of the Agriculture and Livestock Development (MoALD) and funded by the World Bank. This IPPF has prepared relevant strategies in full compliance with Government of Nepal (GON) policies and with Environmental and Socials Standard (ESS).
